Loss of tank pressure due to weather related issues is quite common. We receive hundreds of calls annually requesting information on how to increase pressure, PSI, and BTU in tanks, cylinders, and pressurized vessels. After determining the equipment is functioning properly, we begin to look at weather related issues surrounding temperature and moisture.
For example, many people are not aware that temperature can have a dramatic affect on propane pressure. Moisture or humidity can effect PSI. Wind can reduce BTU. It therefore becomes necessary to treat each situation individually to try and solve the problem.
